FOR INDY

An American company, the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Company, has commissioned Repco Ltd, of Australia, to build engines for the RepcoBrabham cars to be entered in the Indianapolis race later this year. It will be the first time Repco engines have been used at Indianapolis,- and work on the new units is already well advanced in Australia. The race regulations permit engines of up to 2.8 litres for supercharged units, and up to 4.2 litres for unsupercharged units.
