American speculators interested In mineral prospecting in New Zealand are responsible for the considerable increase in the value of the shares of the New Zealand Petroleum Exploration Company, Ltd. Yesterday the 50c shares rose another 30c to 150 c. They were 101 c at the end of 1967 and early in the year had been as low as 11c. “Americans are buying all the shares they can,” said a director.
