Fire Destroys Shed
A shed, 10ft by 12ft, and about 10ft of live hedge at 82 Port Hills Road, a property occupied by Mr E. R. Elsom, were destroyed by a fire which occurred about 1 p.m. yesterday. The exterior of an adjacent grocer’s shop, occupied by H. and S. F. Backhouse, was slightly damaged. Two machines from Woolston attended.
