The appointee will be required to organise and develop, with suitable as sistance, teaching programmes, practical teaching and research projects at the Honours and postgraduate levels, for stu dents in the Faculty of Arts 2 SENIOR LECTURER IN PSY CHOLOGY (COMPARATIVE AND PHYSIOLOGICAL PSY CHOLOGY) Applicants for this position must be experienced in the con duct of lecture courses and laboratory training at all levels Consideration will be given to suitably qualified comparative physiologists who have not had formal training tn psychology Skills in neuroanatomy, neuro physiology. neurosurgery anaesthetics, biochemistry and microscopy will carry consider able weight. The successful applicant will be required to develop courses for students proceeding to a degree in biological science. 3 LECTURER IN PSYCHOLOGY (MATHEMATICAL PSYCHOL OGY) Applicants must have advanced training in some branch or branches of Mathematical Psychology, particularly those concerned with the application of mathematical models to the problems of experimental psy chology. The appointee will be expected to assist in general departmental courses and to assist tn the development of undergraduate and post graduate courses centred on Pure Mathematics, Mathemati cal Statistics on Mathematical Psychology in the Faculties of Arts and Science. 4 LECTURER DEPARTMENT OF UNIVERSITY EXTENSION In the first instance the appointee will be based at Grafton, N.S.W., and will be re sponsible for field work in com munity development on the North Coast of New South Wales. CONDITIONS POSITIONS 1-4 Salary: Associate Professor, 3A9900 p.a. Senior Lecturer, $A7600 x $230-38750 p.a. Lecturer, 3A5400 x $270 3A7020 X $2BO-$A7300.
