May Ask For Expenses
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON. Players competing in open tennis tournaments in Britain from April 22 will be able to
apply for expenses if they do not wish to accept prize money, the British Lawn Tennis Association announced. It has sent a circular to all national tennis associations detailing its plans to drop the distinction between amateurs and professionals from its rules and to legislate only for “players.”
