Waterspouts In Harbour

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 27. A huge waterspout, closely i followed by two smaller ones, ' threaded its way down the , northern reaches of the Wai- 1 temata Harbour shortly after ! 8 p.m. yesterday. i The spouts dissipated only i a short distance from the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Residents of western and northern suburbs watched in awe as the whirling larger spout sucked water from the harbour into the air. There were no reports ot damage.
