Mr A. Sutton, managing director of British Drug Houses (New Zealand). Ltd, Auckland, will retire at the end of this year. He will remain a director of the company. Mr 1 Clements, marketing manager of the New Zealand company, will succeed Mr R. Sutton as managing director.
Investments
Investments with the Tolalisator Agency Board on yesterday’s meeting totalled $360,672 (win and place *192.283, doubles On-course investments were $285,267 50, down $57,292. $168,389). No Serious Injury.—Two drivers. R. W. Curtin and I. R Walker, who were involved in collisions on the second day of the Westport meeting were not seriously injured Both receiver; attention, but were not admitted to Buller Hospital.
