Ian Fleming’s Life Story To Be Filmed

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) LONDON, December 27. A film telling the life story of lan Fleming, creator of the fictional secret agent, James Bond, is to be made by a British script-writer, Jack Whittingham.

Mr Whittingham and Fleming were involved in a costly legal battle over the copyright of the book “Thunder-

ball” until Fleming suddenly died from a heart attack.

Mr Whittingham said last night the picture should be completed during 1969. It would be shot in many parts of the world and describe how Fleming was engaged at one time on espionage and sabotage in Russia. In the film the parts of Fleming and Bond will be played by the same actor. In this way, after Bond has been created in Fleming’s mind, they will have scenes together.
