Red Siren, Next Please Favoured “The Press” Special Service DUNEDIN. Red Siren, from Gore, Segundo, from Invercargill, and Next Please, from Riccarton, may share the finish of the Dunedin Gold Gup, the first leg of the Dunedin Jockey Club’s T.A.B. double at Wingatui today.

Brown, the rider of Lissom Lad, winner of the Trial Stakes at Wingatui on Saturday, was fined $25 for allowing his mount to shift in over the concluding stages of the race. Lissom Lad caused interference to High Sierra (J. R. Dowling) and Sea Belle (B. T. Jones). A. S. Borthwick, the rider of Somelight in the President’s Handicap, was charged with crowding Punchelle (B. L. Shaw) running to the half-mile. After hearing evidence the committee fined Borthwick $3O.
