Season’s Greetings
The women’s editor of “The Press” and her assistants acknowledge seasonal greetings, which they warmly reciprocate, from the following:—
The women’s committee of the English-Speaking Union, the Canterbury provincial executive of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers, the North Canterbury federation of Country Women’s Institutes, the Christchurch Federated Business and Professional Women’s Club, the Canterbury Women’s Club, the Riccarton Townswomen’s Guild. The executive committee of the Canterbury federation of Country Women’s Institutes,
the Soroptimist Club of Christchurch, Inc., the North Canterbury centre of the New Zealand Red Cross, the Prisoners’ Aid and Rehabilitation Society, the Electrical Association for Women in New Zealand, the Hospital Lady Visitors’ Association, the Canterbury East federation of Country Women’s Institutes.
The Christchurch Free Kindergarten Association, the Christchurch branch of the National Council of Women, the Catholic Women’s League, the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Registered Nurses’ Association, Miss Jean G. Henderson, deaconess, and “an appreciative friend.”
Spirited Treatment.—Neglected linoleum responds well to this treatment; clean a small patch at a time with, paraffin or white spirit on a soft cloth. Dry with another cloth as you go along so that the lino doesn’t get soaked.
