Cassarook leaves for Auckland next Thursday for a North Island campaign with the Auckland Cup as his target. Summer Magic, which was recently treated for corns which had been hindering him in his racing, is also booked for Auckland, but the final decsion will be made after he races at Tapanui today. Somelight, Alice Derby and White Wine make most appeal in the second leg, the Brooksdale Handicap, the distance event for hacks. Somelight was an impressive winner over a mile at the Dunedin spring meeting. The track is reported to be in excellent order.
