Warnings To Shoplifters
'N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 7. Shopkeepers in Mount Roskill will place notices in their windows warning that they will no longer treat shoplifters leniently. The president of the Roskill Businessmen’s Association (Mr R. C. Clapp) said today that any person caught shoplifting would be reported to the police. The move follows the announced intention of the Auckland Provincial Retailers’ Federation to “be tough” on shoplifting this Christmas. V
