RACE FOR FILLIES
Cheviot Club Proposal The Cheviot Trotting Club will run a race for two-year-old fillies at its annual meeting at Rangiora Raceway on Saturday, March 16. The race, to be run over 10 furlongs, will carry a stake of $BOO and a trophy valued at $lOO. It will be called the I. V. Leonard Memorial Two-year-old Fillies’ Stakes. If this season’s race proves successful, the elub intends making it an annual event
