The condition of Dr J. Brotherhood, evacuated by air from the Antarctic on Wednesday, was reported yesterday to be satisfactory. He was transferred from the Christchurch Hospital to Burwood Hospital for an operation on his broken jaw. He will return to the Christchurch Hospital later for treatment to his spine.
