West Borneo Guerrillas (N Z P. A -Reuter—Copyright I DJAKARTA, Dec. 4. Some 340 Communist guerrillas in West Borneo had surrendered to Government troops, Antara news agency reported today. The agency said they had some weapons with them. The report, as yet unconfirmed from other sources, is the first reference to any mass surrender of Chineseled guerrillas in West Borneo, where Communist rebels are believed to number about 2500 men, including some 700 with firearms. West Borneo military authorities are already reported to be holding about 300 Communists suspects who have surrendered or been captured.
