15 GIRLS DROWN

Pleasure Boat Capsizes (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) BANGKOK, Dec. 4. Fifteen young girl students were drowned and 17 others missing when a pleasure boat capsized and sank 124 miles south of Bangkok yesterday. The 32 students, all from Bangkok secretarial schools, were travelling by a fishing boat to an island off Rayong in the Gulf of Thailand. Reports reaching Bangkok said a sudden storm capsized the boat. The students were thrown intoWhe water. Eight of the students made it to the shore. A fleet of fishing boats from a nearby village picked up 15 bodies.

Up to last night, the other 17, all younger than 20, were still unaccounted for. Police have arrested the captain of the boat
