Threatened Strike Off
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Dec. 4. Sydney residents fretting at the thought of a “dry” Christmas breathed a sigh of relief today. Brewery workers, who had threatened to go out on strike again and curtail supplies of Christmas ale, decided at a stopwork meeting today to resume work at normal starting times tonight. The men were protesting against the refusal by the Brewers’ Association to discuss a single log of claims for the industry’s 12 unions.
