Foxvale Wins Well In Cup

Willets took the mount at 31b over-weight, making 7-7. But now that Foxvale has more his weight, R. J. Skelton is to be the rider. Foxvale is not likely to be tried again as a stayer until the Auckland summer meeting. Geyser Land, again an eachway favourite, ran his worst race of the season to beat only a few home. Miss Lynette continued her fine run of form by beating a

smart field in the Paerata Two Thousand.

She made all the pace with Irish Hover and cleared away In the straight, docking Imin U 3-ssec tor the six furlongs. It was her third win in tour starts this season.

Blue Baron and Classical Glow were the next best after Miss Lynette, then Unpainted, which suffered by losing ground in the rush over the arst two or three furlongs.
