CHRISTMAS SHOOT
Christchurch Gun Club W. E. Moorhead was the top shooter at the Christchurch Gun Club's Christmas shoot at Yaldhurst on Saturday. Moorhead won the grand aggregate trophy after shooting off against D. S. Harrison. C. C. Skinner and E. A. Elliott. Elliott finished runner-up. The shoot comprised three special handicap 10-target matches. The single barrel aggregate was won by Skinner with Moorhead runner-up. Special registered members’ trophies were won by C. J. Malzard < general aggregate), S. W. Geddes: run-ner-up, S. W. Geddes (single barrel aggregate), C. Mclver, runner-up. Others to win trophies finished in the following order after shooting up:— Match 1. —E. Donald. T. Everett. R. Skerton. M. Thian, W. Luderman. D. S. Harrison, T. Walls, J. C. Streeter. E. A. Elliott, V. Peterson, C. C. Skinner, C. Mclver, W. E. Moorhead, R. Mutimer, J. Dillon, F. W. Inwood. N. A. Howson, I D. Andrews, W. Fidler, and N. Ablett. Match 2.—Geddes, Walls, R. Keys, Streeter, Malzard, Elliott, S. G. Holmes, Harrison. D. H. Nicholas, A. Duns, D. Manning, S. Everett, H. J. Stevens, Dillon. Howson, L. W. Kerr, Skinner, L. G. Baldock, T. Everett, and S. R. Marston.
