Soil Moisture
The soil moisture deficit on the non-irrigated area at the Winchmore Irrigation research station was 47 points yesterday compared with 99 at the same time last year. On the irrigated area the deficit was 47 points compared with 78 at the same time last season. The irrigated area has riot been irrigated so far this season and can next be irrigated on Monday.
