BETRAYAL ALLEGED

(N.I. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 30. The Combined State Services Organisation today accused the Government of betraying the people of New Zealand. In a statement It said that the Government had “welshed" on its often-stated policy of full employment. “The casual announcement by, of ail people, the Minister of Health and Social Security (Mr McKay) that 16-year-oids will be eligible for unemployment benefit, shows the extent of the Government’s cynicism," said the organisation, which repreeenita most Government emifloyees.
