Police Chief Resigns
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) SAIGON, November 29. Brigadier-General Nguyen Ngoc Loan, the head of South Vietnam’s national police force, has resigned, according to Government sources. The 37-year-old police chief —who personally led his men in cracking down on the antiGovernment Buddhist struggle movement last year—claimed ill-health as the reason for his resignation, police sources said.
