Martian Command In Favour Today

With a firm track likely the Wlngatui two-year-old Martian Command, will firm in favour for the Nursery Handicap, at the Southland Racing Club's spring meeting today. Martian Command was unplaced at his only race, at Wingatui in September. He has obviously improved considerably and should test the best of his rivals in today’s field. Darway and the McLean Stakes winner. Auto Run. may be the hardest for Martian Command to beat Balmaris and fted Sash will be a strongly fancied combination for the T.A.B. double, which will be run on the Southland and Taramoa Handicaps. The weather has improved and the track will be firm, but dead.
