The Criminal Justice Amendment (No. 2) Bill and the Mental Health Bill were introduced and read a first time when Parliament resumed yesterday morning. They will not be proceeded with this session. The Door-to-door Sales Bill and the Bush Workers’ Amendment Bill were recommitted for consideration of individual clauses, and then were reported back. Ministers answered 16 questions. The House then discussed the Statutes Amendment Bill, which on its passing will be divided into 68 separate bills.
Discussion had not been completed when the House adjourned at 4 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
