Driffield Wins Billiards
(N Z P A-Reuter— Copyright) COLOMBO. L. Driffield (England) on Thursday regained the world amateur billiards championship which he first won in 1952. He beat the Australian. J Long, 1817-936, in his last match.
Driffield was the only player among the nine competitors to remain unbeaten in the series.
Mahamad Lafir (Ceylon) finished second over-all. He lost only one match—against Driffield.
