Amalgamation Opposed

(N Z Press Association) NEY PLYMOUTH, Nov. 9 South and Central Taranaki opponents of hospital amalgamation have written to the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) asking for a poll on whether the four Taranaki hospitals should be merged. The move comes after the recent announcement by the Prime Minister that an independent authority (Mr L. G. H. Sinclair) will inquire into the Government’s amalgamation proposal.
