' The new $22,000 Westburn School community hall was officially opened by Mr M. A Connelly, M.P., at a function arranged by the hall committee last evening. The school I will have first call on it during school hours, but at other times it will be available for i local community groups and ■ organisations. | The cost of the hall has been met in equal proportions by the housing division of the Ministry of Works, the Education Department, and from ’funds provided by the Golden jKiwi Lottery Board. I The building is of portal ' frame construction, with I meta! cladding, iron roof and ! raised timber floor.
