Tanes’ Night
The Christchurch Wahines’ Club held its annual Tanes’ night in the Scottish Society Hall recently. Among the guests of honour were the Mayor (Sir George Manning) and Lady Manning, and representatives of sister clubs from Macandrew’s Bay, Timaru and Ashburton. The guests were entertained by musical items and sketches given by members.
