gramme with the ultimate view of selecting a team for the Federation Cup. The Federation Cup—the women's equivalent of the Davis Cup—will be held at Auckland in January, 1969. It will be the greatest undertaking by New Zealand tennis officials since the 1921 Davis Cup tie. The N.Z.L.T.A. will assist 15 nations to compete in the event on the basis they participate in the New Zealand championships which will be held at Auckland immediately after iL
