Further talks toward the publication of a joint newspaper for the churches negotiating for union in New Zealand were approved by the Presbyterian General Assembly on Friday evening. Supporting speakers said it would help understanding and “add spice to the flavour of denominational journals” but others said so much would be involved at this stage that the proposal would be impracticable.
