Kelliher Art Awards
<N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 3. The Kelliher Art Trust announced today that Kelliher art prizes for 1968 would be 1 awarded for portraiture as : well as landscape painting. There will be a $5OO prize in the competition for a portrait of a New Zealand citizen. Prizes for the landscape competition will be awarded as follows: first prize, $1000: second prize, $600: third prize, $400: nine merit awards of $5O each. Both competitions will be! held in the gallery of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts, Wellington, from June 10 to June 10. The closing date for receipts of entry forms is Friday, April 19, 1968.
