Otago Degree For Governor
(N Z Press Association) DUNEDIN, October 30. The honorary degree of doctor of laws will be conferred on the new GovernorGeneral (Sir Arthur Porritt) by the University of Otago, possibly at the graduation ceremony next May.
Sir Arthur Porritt Is a former student of the University of Otago from which he gained a Rhodes Scholarship which took him to Oxford University where he completed his medical degree.
