Shoelace was third, ahead of Glamis Lad (rails) and Sandbank (No. 6). Time and Tide (sixth) is following Glamis Lad. BOTTOM: In the second leg, the Le Bons Handicap, Canny Day ran right away from his open sprint rivals. He won by five lengths from Middy. Quick Flight (breast plate) was third.
