SYDNEY The feverieh activity in Great Boulder and other W.A. miners produced the busiest day in mining stocks on record. Mining stocks were generally very firm, with Hamersley up 10c to 890 c, Consolidated Goldfields up 20c to 570 c.

MELBOURNE In beetle trading tn the first half hour Great Boulder went from 750 to 920 on a fresh report disclosing nickel values averaging 8.1 per cent at the Martin mine. The share closed at 990, up 380 c. Other minings mostly had solid gains but Mount Isa dropped 8c to 440. C.R.A. 10c to 930 and Western Mining down 20c to 2650. Olis were steady. Industrials were steady generally but B.H.P. gained 20 to 1490.
