Under Water 15 Hours
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREL Oct. 15. A New Zealand under-water endurance record of 15 hours was set at the Whangarei Boat Show on Saturday by a 15-year-old schoolboy, Peter Doherty. This beats by one hour the previous record of 16-year-old John Ross, set at the boat show last year. Doherty went into a glassfronted tank at 5 a.m. on Saturday and left it dizzy, but very happy at 8 p.m.
