AUSTRALIAN BUYERS
150 Expected In January (N.Z. Press Assn. —Copvright) SYDNEY. Between 100 and 150 buyers from Australia were expected to go to the National Yearling Sales at Trentham next January, said Mr M. Floyd, from Wright, Stephenson’s Wellington office, the "Daily Telegraph" reported yesterday. The sales will be held on January 18, 19, 23, and 24. Mr Floyd said he expected the Australian buyers to purchase about 200 of the record entry of 070 yearlings. In each of the last three seasons, New Zealandbred horses had.won more than tAustlm in stakes In Australia, he said.
