LONDON, Oct 11.

The United Kingdom waterfront disputes were beginning to affect the wool textile industry already suffering as a result of the economic situation.

The Bradford “Telegraph and Argus” reported yesterday that unemployment and short time in Yorkshire would increase if the strikes did not end soon.

Wool imports have been held up for some three weeks at Liverpool and because of strikes at Hull last year little wool was coming through that port.
