Four Flats Sold
Four self-contained flats on a'43-perch section at 46 Helmores Lane, which were passed in for $20,000 at a public auction, have been sold by private treaty. The Government valuation is $16,200. The flats were all leased and the rent for the four flats was $6B. There are three carports and a self-contained bach on the property which had been rented for $6.25. A weatherboard house on a 42-perch section at 44 Alpha Avenue, Bryndwr, was passed in at a public auction for $B9OO. The Government valuation is $7550 and the rates $B4.
The house is 30 years old and has five bedrooms, a large lounge with a beamed ceiling, a large kitchen, and a double garage. The auctioneer was Mr G. White, of Hutchinson White, Ltd.
A four-roomed house at 492 Hereford Street, on a residential B section, was passed in at a public auction for $2600. The Government valuation is $2400.
The auctioneer was Mr M. Robinson, who auctioned the property for the Public Trust on behalf of Mrs M. L. Latimer.
