Writ Sought

An application for a writ under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act against the secretary of the Canterbury Hotel Workers’ Union (Mr L. N. Short) has been filed in the Supreme Court at Christchurch on behalf of the Canterbury Hotel Association. Notice of the application for a writ has been sent to the Minister of Labour (Mr Shand).
