No Complaints
No specific complaints against hotel proprietors for not serving liquor were laid with the Christchurch police last evening, although between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. about 50 calls were received from persons seeking a clarification of the legal position. “Any complaints will be looked into,” said Inspector L. W. R. O’Neill. “The question of prosecutions has yet to be determined.”
