Biggest Milk Tanker
(N.Z. Press Association) LEVIN, October 11. The largest milk tanker in New Zealand was brought into use yesterday by the Levin Co-operitive Dairy Company, Ltd. It carries 5000 gallons Of skim milk on each trip from the butter factory at Levin to the casein factory at Tokomaru.
The tanker is Japanese make and has a 195 h.p. motor. There are one or two tankers of similar size used by oil companies in New Zealand.
