Trap Shooting At Leeston
For its annual Winchester day shoot the Ellesmere Gun Club had a- good attendance on its ground at Leeston. It is the occasion when all the trophies competed for are given by Mr W. H. Winchester and his two. sons. Three generations of the Winchester family have beert generous supporters of the club over many years. Results were:—
Skeet.—The all-ons were A. A. Peterson, E. L. F. Donald, R. H. Washbourne, W. Hantz, L. H. Greenwood, P. G. Washbourne, S. Brightiing, and P. Stanley. Shoot off: Peterson 1, P. Washbourne 2, Stanley 3. Ten target eye-openerr S. R. Marston, K. F. Chambers, and J. Dillon, all on.
Single rise, 30 targets: E. L. F. Donald 30, A. A. Peterson, L. H. Greenwood, R. H. ■ Washbourne and G. M. Doyle 28. Washbournp was second and Doyle third after a shoot off. Double-rise at ten pairs: P. G. Washbourne and W. D. M. West each 18 breaks, West winning the shoot off. C. C. Skinner with 17 was third.
First miss out: L. H. Greenwood from West.
