THE SIGN OF THE BELLBIRD, on the Summit road at Kennedy’s Bush, as it was in 1931 and as it is today. Originally the building was a rest-house for trampers and tourists, but it has long been in disrepair. The weather has taken its toll of the neglected building, and vandals have engraved their names on the red stone walls.
