Bankrupt Owes $682
Her own sickness, and that of three children, was given as the reason for her bankruptcy by Joyce Elisabeth Sampson (also known as McDonald), a housekeeper of 10 Kowhai terrace, in a statement to a meeting of her creditors at toe office of toe Official Assignee, Mr T. A. F. Withers. A statement of accounts showed that Sampson owes a total of $682.42, and has no assets.
The meeting was adjourned sine die for lack of a quorum.
