Pipe tobacco and electric clippers of a total value of $44.66 were taken from O’Malley’s tobacconists, 1248 Opawa road, overnight. Change amounting to $3 was taken from Yvonne Ford Salon, 124 A Opawa road, and $1 was taken from Opawa Cycles, Ltd., 132 Opawa road. Nothing was taken from the Opawa Drapery, Ltd., 1308 Opawa road. A boat shed at Lake Katrine was broken into on Friday and a tramper’s paek valued at $lB was stolen. Entry was gained by shooting off the padlock on a window shutter. Shoes and women's clothing of a total value of $53.93 were taken on Friday from a Youth Hostel Association’s hostel in Eveleyn Couzins avenue. A student at Warwick House had property valued at $345 stolen from his room between Thursday and Sunday.
