(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 16.
Returns submitted to the Minister of Health (Mr McKay) from hospital boards, as at March 31, 1967, showed a total of 32,841 people on hospital waiting lists, the Minister said in answer to a written question today from Mr R. L. Bailey (Lab., Heretaunga). Mr McKay said a detailed analysis of the returns would be published in tiie Department of Health publication, “Hospital Statistics in New Zealand,” which was issued as a supplement to the department’s annual report.
