Post Office Wanted

Disappointment at the delay in building a new post office in Lyttelton will be expressed to the PostmasterGeneral (Mr Scott) in a letter from the Lyttelton Borough Council. The council decided to send the letter on the recommendation of the town; planning committee. The committee reported receiving a letter from the Leader of the Opposition and member of Parliament for Lyttelton (Mr Kirk) enclosing a letter from Mr Scott. The Post Office had a site and had approved in principle the building of a new post office, he said.
