Arbitration Judges
The New Zealand Furniture and Furnishing Trades Industrial Association of Employers yesterday adopted a resolution asking the Employers' Federation to keep watch on territory operated by Arbitration Court judges. Mr E. A. Miller ssid he wss concerned that there were autonomous judges to be appointed to the Arbitration Court It would appear that both judges were to operate over the same territory. This could mean a dispute could be beard before one judge this time, snd before the other judge on another occasion. Consequently, decisions could vary by the opinions of the judges. Mr Miller said that because there was no appeal against an Arbitration Court decision there could be confusion in labour relations.
