Mini-Mice

Do women stand on chairs and raise their mini-skirts when confronted with minimice? asks a London correspondent.

Visitors to the London Zoo may soon be able to answer this question for four pygmy mice have recently arrived there from Zambia and are on show in the Charles Clore Pavilion for Mammals.

These tiny rodents are only about ljin long, excluding tail, and are the smallest mammals at London Zoo. This species, which is found in southern Africa living in anthills, has never been seen at the London Zoo. But because of their small size and large quarters in which they live, it may be a little difficult to see them even now.
