Market Continues Easy Trend
The share market continued the easy trend on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, in more active trading over a wider range, The overseas list was weak, with five falls and no rises.
B.H.P. fell Bc, to 982 c; Lloyd’s Bank lost 10c to 505 c; Colonial Sugar, Woolworths and G. J. Coles lost 3c, 2c and lc respectively. Golden Bay Cement, at 107 c, 1.C.1.N.Z., at 166 c and N.Z. Breweries, at 128 c, recovered lc each.
National Insurance lost 2c to 273 c; Southland and Wilsons Cement eased 5c and 3c respectively; J. Wattle Canneries, at 179 c, KaiapoiPetone, at 36c and Zip Holdings, at 54c lost another lc each.
